Deinen Ärger darüber kann ich wirklich verstehen - am Ende ist es doch aber auch "nur" ein Getriebeschaden. Klar hat dein Auto noch nicht viel gelaufen, ist aber immerhin auch 9 Jahre alt.
Die Rep-Kosten liegen bei max. 1,4 K was für ein Auto in dem Alter durchaus mal passieren kann - auch bei anderen Herstellern. Um genau den Wert ist das Auto momentan halt weniger Wert. Diesen kannst du bei DAT nachschauen. Ich würd´s reparieren lassen und gut - alles Gute

Na ja, andere können das auch. Ich hatte mal nen VW T5 Bus, Getriebeschaden bei 120TKM. Hat 4800,- gekostet und das war 2011. Könnte man heute wohl noch 1000 draufpacken.

Unfortunately high or low mileage isn't the main factor as lower mileage cars are often used on short journeys around town so are changing gears many more times than a high mileage car used on motorway journeys, from my experience lower mileage cars that are over 8 years old have more issues with clutches and gearboxes than high mileage cars of the same age.
I used to have the astra twintop with the M32 gearbox that exploded on me about 4years ago, here in the UK it cost me £1000 at the time to have a reconditioned gearbox, clutch and slave cylinder fitted by a local clutch specialist.

That sounds logical on one Hand but on the other hand, we should be able to rely in products, that are built to last longer than that. And a car is definately such a product. As long as the owner is doing the necessary services in time, he can await, that his car lasts for more than 150000 km in total as a minimum without paying a significant amount of cash. That imho is usual for most cars.
But without caring for your car, that may finally lead to unexpected high cost.
Better pay less upfront instead of paying too much at the end…
